About Whole Psyllium Husk

Overview

Whole Psyllium Husk is the natural, unmilled husk of Plantago ovata seeds, separated from the seed and cleaned to remove dust and foreign matter. It keeps its natural flake structure and offers a high swell volume, making it the preferred form for fiber supplements and for manufacturers who mill or blend the husk themselves.

Grades

Our standard grade is 99% purity. Other purity grades can be supplied to suit your application and price point, with the grade confirmed on the Certificate of Analysis for every lot.

Applications

Fiber supplements, traditional isabgol products, capsule manufacturing, further milling into powder, food formulations and animal nutrition.

Key Properties

High swell volume, long and clean flakes, a creamy-white colour, and minimal processing with no chemicals used.

Quality & Documentation

Sourced from the Unjha-Sidhpur belt of North Gujarat, India. Every lot is tested for purity, swell volume, moisture, ash and microbial limits before dispatch, and is shipped with a Certificate of Analysis and the standard export documents.

Packed in HDPE laminated bags of 10 kg, 25 kg or 50 kg, or in 1,000 kg jumbo bags for large orders. Store in a cool, dry place away from moisture and direct sunlight. Shelf life is 24 months from the date of manufacture.
